1 Girl, 4 Looks: The World's Most Fashionable CEO?

With all the buzz around Target's latest collaboration, chances are you're already well-versed in the chic, chic stylings of The Webster. The Miami boutique—an international shopping destination along the lines of, say, Paris' Colette—is catching fire around the globe, thanks to Laure Heriard Dubreuil, one of the most sartorially gifted CEOs this side of the pond. The brunette beauty is no fashion rookie—she founded The Webster after stints at Balenciaga and YSL, just a few highlights on her impressive résumé. Her highly sophisticated yet super fun taste (think palm prints and colors, colors, colors!) and discerning eye for fresh designers explains how she turned The Webster into not just a South Beach mainstay, but an obsession.
A peek at her enviable Wooster Street closet reinforces just why her shop is so influential—Heriard Dubreuil's rad racks are the ultimate crash course for any wannabe buyer. From neon dresses and French-tastic trousers to a perfectly tailored blazer, each of her pieces is launching us into full-on lust mode. So, we picked her brain for tips on summer dressing, wardrobe musts, and her top NYC browsing destinations, when she's not, you know, running The Webster. Click through to cue instant jalousie.

"The people around me, traveling, art shows, fashion photography recent and past, and fashion runways. And of course the crowd attending the shows as well. Style is everywhere, I think."

What inspired you to found The Webster?
"The combination of my past experiences with YSL, Balenciaga, and the Fashion Institute of Technology steered me toward running my own business and opening a multi-brand high-fashion store in the US. Then I fell in love with Miami; the Art Deco District, and the sun and the beach — two-and-a-half hours from NYC."

What is one fashion item you're currently obsessed with (for yourself and for the store)?
"One? This is torture. The Céline flower print, the Balenciaga 'wings' pumps from the Spring/Summer show, Chanel neon nylon fold bags to travel with — they’re so genius and practical. And, I love Clarins relaxing body oil, it’s definitely a fashion item!"

How does Miami style differ from the style in other cities (say, NYC)?
"The all year round warm weather and the Latin American influence are definitely the key elements in Miami fashion and style. Women in Miami are very feminine and wear more dresses and high heels, and a lot more bright colors and prints!"

Will you ever open The Webster up in NYC?
"Since I first laid my eyes on The Webster in Miami, I had the idea to open in other locations, like Shanghai for example, where I spent a lot of time during my eight years of Mandarin lessons. And, of course, NYC would definitely make sense after Miami, I have a lot of New Yorkers’ requests actually."
