Backstage Access: Lanvin Celebrates 10 Seasons With Cake, Boys, & Bling

You only turn 10 once. Lanvin decided to forgo the standard Chuck E. Cheese party in favor of a sumptuous runway affair that also featured cake, live music, and the very best-dressed partygoers (okay, fine, models), of course. Alber Elbaz is a master of party dressing, and for his fall '12 show, he didn't stray far from his strengths, but just elevated the looks.

Ruffles were extra ruffly, jewels were extra bilgy, and that rich-bitch look he's made so covetable became even richer, even bitchier, and so, so much more amazing. With Paper magazine's Kim Hastreiter playing along with Pink Martini, the backstage wasn't your typical scene, with boys in matching velvet blazers, Alber belting one out with the band, and — oh hey Karlie Kloss — is that where you've been?
