If you're as obsessed with our "1 Girl, 4 Looks," column as we are, you'll know that Jenne Lombardo — W Hotel's Global Fashion Director and the creator of the M.A.C. and Milk partnership — is not afraid to take a few dares when it comes to dressing. And, rather than coming off as too out-there, Lombardo's edged-up outfits somehow just work — trite, we know, but her attitude is that extra accessory that brings it all together.
So, we're strangely hearting the loook this chic chica displayed at a True Religion dinner at The Hole gallery (our super-cool neighbor!) to celebrate artist Evan Gruzis' solo show. Exemplifying the evolution of the denim brand, Lombardo paired a lacy, see-through, cap-sleeve shirt with a black, ruffled skirt, black tights, and vertiginous heels, not to mention her signature purple/ebony lipstick. While we can't always get behind the visible underwear look, in this case, we're glad she stayed, uh, true to her instincts.
