If you're a stand-out-from-the-crowd kind of dude, then your NYC shopping itinerary just got a grade A addition. We're talking 'bout LimoLand, a new menswear boutique that unofficially opens today. The brand is the brainchild of Jean "Johnny" Pigozzi, who likes to live life colorfully—a sensibility that is more than evident in the clothes. The artist-turned-designer (he has shown at the Gagosian and the Musée d'Art Moderne, and also happens to be the world's largest collector of contemporary African art) has teamed up with Yoshida Porter for limited-edition bags and travel accessories, and collaborated with K-Way for a range of exclusive jackets for their "coming soonish" phase (the store officially opens August 26). Previously only available at specialty stores like Dover Street Market, Colette, and 10 Corso Como, Pigozzi's also launching an e-commerce site for those who want to live (and shop) out loud from the comfort of their own homes. Look for a lot of bright colors—not only do the clothes pop, the shop's walls throb with LED lights. If you're looking to sucker-punch your neutral wardrobe, don't forget to put on some shades.
