Do you hear that sound, rumbling in the distance like a band of Dothraki horsemen or wildings coming down from The Wall? If you do (or if you just happen to understand that simile), you are going to be way excited about this first glimpse of the new season of Game Of Thrones. (Without any spoilers, this writer has read all of the books, and third one is totally out-of-control, in the most extraordinary way.)
Not only will we be meeting a host of new characters, but as this just-released featurette promises, the world of GoT will be rapidly expanding. From shooting locations in Ireland, Iceland, Morocco, and wherever the snowy world behind The Wall is, the in-show world seems bigger (and more lush) than ever. Other takeaways: Tyrion's newly scarred face, a whole host of new gowns for Cersei Lannister, and the introduction of Mance Rayder. Winter, it appears, is finally here.
