Fashion Plates: What To Wear To L.A.’s Sceneiest New Spot!

email
If you know anything about NYC eatery Bagatelle, you're fully aware that its new L.A. outpost will not be for DL diners — the see-and-be-seen resto on La Cienega promises to be as buzzy as the hottest premiere after-party, glitterati included. There's not a spot in the house for those who prefer to go incognito, and the food won't go unnoticed either, with Executive Chef Scott Quinn's savory take on Saint-Tropez. Your tastebuds will jump for joy with the joie de vivre on every plate. Our favorites include the Delmonico de Veau des Fermes Marcho (veal delmonico with butternut squash, and honey), and the Poire Pochée au Vin Rouge (red-wine poached pear with lemon scented goat cheese, toasted pistachios, mache, and black true vinaigrette). Hey, you don't have to pronounce them properly to enjoy these worldly eats.

And because you'll need to look as swank as your surroundings, we've styled an international ensemble full of French labels to make your date want to whisper sweet nothings in your ear over the très potent cocktails (we recommend Le Death in the Afternoon as an alternative to dessert: vanilla-infused Absinthe, fresh pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice, squid ink, topped with Moët & Chandon Champagne). Bon appétit, indeed!
