Back in early 2011, we published a little pictorial featuring NYC's most stylish and sexiest straphangers. You guys couldn't get enough. So, we've ventured underground once again, zigzagging beneath the city from Fort Greene to the Upper East Side, and from Williamsburg to Harlem. Our findings: The subway is still one of the most democratic and captivating places in the world, to see and be seen.

This time, we discovered fresh-faced (albeit Fashion Week-weary) models, the "conventionally employed" in business attire, garrulous Europeans, guarded locals, ambitious new transplants, and the hottest set of buskers we've ever seen. For all you singletons out there: Save your cab fare, lock up the bicycle, and consider riding the subway as an investment in your romantic future. There are no guest lists or flutes of champagne in the tunnels, but a MetroCard gets you into one of the steamiest spots in town!
