But we've been down for a while—the Brit, who kept us busy dating Hugh Grant for most of the '90s, posing for Estée Lauder, and designing her own swimwear line, has been quiet of late (besides her split from husband Arun Nayar). And while we're not going to lie and say Hurley's a fantastic actress—hello Bedazzled—we're stoked to see her get back in the game with a new role. Indeed, Starpulse is reporting that Hurley is set to hit the small screen in Gossip Girl's fifth season, playing media mogul Diana Payne. According to the show's executives, "Diana's entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters - including, and especially, Gossip Girl herself." Sounds like a series finale if we've ever heard one. A fierce one.
