This year marks the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee — a celebration of the fact that 60 years ago, Her Royal Highness The Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh, ascended the steps of Westminster Abbey, sat on King Edward's Chair, donned the crown, and was proclaimed Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, Ireland, and the British Dominions beyond the Seas, Queen and Defender of the Faith.
