Marc Jacobs Is Starring In A Film; Will Not Play "Himself"

We always thought that the fearless and often over-the-top Marc Jacobs was meant for the big screen, and as it turns out, we're not the only ones. The designer (-turned-actor?) was present at the first annual WSJ Magazine Innovator of the Year Awards where he presented Katie Grand with an award for her work at Love magazine and spilled about his latest project. "I got cast in a role in a movie," said Jacobs. "They're filming next week and I'm excited. I get to play a character that's not myself at all." (So, no full frontal?) Unfortunately at this time those are all the details we know, but we will be eagerly refreshing our Google Reader for any more info on the upcoming, unknown project. (Style.com)
