The couture shows have started trickling in, and we've already started only-in-our-dreams-wishlists for Galliano's to-die-for corsets and Tisci's over-the-top jewels (or, more like body armor). But one piece from couture we might actually be able to recreate at home are Alexis Mabille's amazing ribbon hair accents. Big, silky, wide, and flowing, Mabille tied long lengths of navy ribbon into models' hair, which also reminded us of these amazing ribbons that we saw tied around models' thighs and wrists at the Trovata fall '09 show. This couldn't be an easier DIY, so we thinks we're taking a little field trip to M&J for some luxurious swathes of ribbon to steal the look with.
