Queen Of The Dothraki Army To Star In Breakfast At Tiffany’s On Broadway

Okay, so when you look at Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, you probably don't think Fifth Avenue at 5 a.m. But, there's no denying that Emilia Clarke is a stunner, and she's just landed the iconic role of Holly Golightly in a new Broadway adaptation of Truman Capote's (in)famous Breakfast at Tiffany's.
What can we expect from playwright Richard Greenberg's adaptation? Probably a less offensive Yunioshi, for starters. Plus, Greenberg also plans on channeling the original story line from Capote's classic rather than the highly romanticized 1961 film we've all come to know (nearly every word of) and love. The production debuts on Broadway in February 2013, and you better believe we're getting out our black dresses and pearls for this one. (Gothamist)
