Happy 35th Miss Moss! An eBay Birthday for Kate

It's hard to create a lasting presence in the fashion world. To quote model Heidi Klum: "One day you're in, the next day you're out." But a different model bucks that rule: Kate Moss. Today is her 35th b-day, and by extension the twentieth (!!!) anniversary of her modeling career. The Croydon-reared lass got her first magazine gig at 15 and has basically been in the media eye ever since. Her career is expansive (she's been the face of everything) and riddled with controversy (heroin-chic waif in the early '90s, coke scandal in '07). Her style is intriguing and variable (she's been named best-dressed by Vanity Fair; she designs for Topshop). Her taste in men is questionable (Pete Doherty, a.k.a. the Blake Fielder-Civil of yore, made paintings of her using his… blood). Though she runs the gamut on many levels, its unquestionable that she's a powerful figure in forming our collective idea of beauty and style. And she sure throws a helluva birthday fiesta.
