New York certainly doesn't have a shortage of young, burgeoning talent, but if it's one line we wish a boutique could pick up and thus tempt our wallets with, it's Finnish label Iloa. Their spring '09 lookbook is filled with the sort of easy pieces ripe with layering possibilities—oversized light cotton jackets with upturned sleeves, a little pleated dress with hidden pockets, graphic black and white frocks, and the first pair of cropped trousers we've liked in a while. They've even inspired us to wear our summer dresses with simple white sneakers. A plea to all buyers to pick up this line and bring it stateside! Because we don't have the budget to fly to Finland or the Netherlands to get our fix.
