Update: January 22 is the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion nationwide, Roe v Wade. But this year, of course, is different. This summer the Supreme Court overturned the decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. So on this anniversary, folks are coming together across the country with myriad emotions — many painful — and a more urgent resolve than ever. It's official: The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. On June 24, people started gathering to protest against the loss of our Constitutional right to abortion. And it's just beginning: More and more people are exercising their right to gather, speak their minds, and protest the inconceivable loss of one of our most basic freedoms.
