Demi Lovato & Selena Gomez Are Apparently BFFs Again, Guys

Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez want the world to know that they are cool for life, not just for the summer. The singers shared a photo of themselves via Lovato's Instagram, and included a caption replete with dancing lady duos. Okay gals, we get the picture: You're friends now. But what about that feud from a few years back? Apparently it's water under the bridge these days — but at the time, the two were at serious odds. Five years ago, the former Disney stars (who, by the way, were just 18 years old) got into a spat that led to Lovato unfollowing Gomez on Twitter. The "Heart Attack" artist told Andy Cohen that the friendship breakup was just "one of those things where people change and people grow apart." At the time, Radar reported that the women were actually fighting about party habits and the dudes in their lives. But — as we recently wrote — the way that female friendships get portrayed in the media is pretty much always a mess. So, whatever is between Gomez and Lovato will likely stay just between them, which is just fine by us.
