No one can nail an opening musical number quite like Neil Patrick Harris. This is a man with a Tony Award for his turn in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He has an Emmy Award for hosting the Tonys. He was also nominated for a Grammy for his Tony-winning Broadway performance soundtrack, but sadly that went to someone else. No matter. Our point here is that NPH is one of the greatest showmen of our time. He more than proved it with this opening number at the Oscars.
