Great food, dance parties, sample sales, and even a professional seminar have had us looking forward to this upcoming week for some time. So forget that the week's end marks the August halfway point and enjoy the passing of time. Because when the days are filled with activities this good, pouting is out of the question.

Hit up a Milk Bar.
It's in with the old, out with the new at Milk Bar stores around the city. So long, German Chocolate Jimbo, and hello, apple pie! And, that's only the beginning. Location-specific soft-serve flavors — Compost Cookie in Williamsburg, Crack Pie in the East Village, Candy Bar Pie on the Upper West Side, to name a few — have us contemplating a citywide soft serve-tour. Who's in?
When: Now.
Where: Various Milk Bar locations.

Jet set with Michael Kors.
Planning to stop by a Michael Kors boutique? We'd recommend you visit the Madison Avenue location on one of the next three Thursdays, when all customers will be treated to a complimentary manicure using one of the 18 shades in Michael Kors' new polish collection. So step right in and spoil your digits with a "Jet Set Manicure."
