Today in San Francisco, Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the newest addition to the company's family of products: the iPad 5, now called the iPad Air. Also announced was the iPad Mini with Retina Display. Apple has a very clear direction and a very clear goal, or so says Cook. And, that is making the products it is known for bigger, better, faster, and (fortunately) cheaper, too.

With major updates to OSX Mavericks, the MacBook, and the MacPro, Apple has a whole new host of gadgets. Forget the iPad 5, because that idea seems to have dissipated into the Air. (Badum-cha!)
