Even though we're neck-deep in fluffy sweaters and cozy scarves at the moment, we're always down to fantasize about a beach vacay. And, that's exactly what happened when we spied the new cruise '14 collection vid from swimwear designer Karla Colletto. Produced and directed by the creative geniuses at Design Army, the short film takes us along on the quirky journey of an It Girl on vacation, complete with oversized sunnies, bathing caps, and a beach cruiser.
There are major Wes Anderson-overtones here, from the cinematic techniques and soundtrack to the text overlays and stop-motion-style action. We're totally smitten with this sun-soaked tale (not to mention the to-die-for swimsuits from the Virginia-based designer) and have probably watched it at least four times today. Does that count as a vacation? Probably not. But, it sure is making this Monday feel a bit more interesting.
