What Does A No-Glue, No-Seams Shoe Look LIke?

When it comes to green fashion, style and sustainability hardly fall into the same sentence. That is, until Dutch shoe designer Anna Korshun came along. Having worked in the business, Korshun was frustrated over how non-eco-friendly the shoemaking process really is. The amount of toxic glue and labor used to protect our precious soles from the all-terrain is far from green; so, Korshun designed shoes without glue, naturally.
Korshun Footwear uses a "click technique" to attach the leather to the seamless soles — think IKEA for footwear. No glue, no seams, and two minutes of effort? Sounds like a pretty good deal for both you and Mother Earth. Oh, and Korshun's designs are actually attractive. There's no sign of granola fashion anywhere. And if Camper and Tommy Hilfiger can get behind them, so can we. (Styleite)
