The Academy Awards are not only the biggest night for the industry, they're also Hollywood's biggest date night. Nothing says true love like donning a seriously fancy outfit, walking the red carpet, and making small talk with Ryan Seacrest. Okay, okay, so that might not spell romance, but it does translate to some pretty great photos (and, later in the night, some super-sweet speeches).

Ahead, we've rounded up some of our favorite red carpet couples. There are the old standbys: Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Steve and Nancy Carell. And, then, the cool kids: Andy Samberg and Joanna Newsom, Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine. They smile. They hold hands. They melt your heart.
