Shawn Burke Ltd.’s New Lookbook Is Giving Us A Case Of Green Peepers

We covet an over-the-shoulder carryall just as much as the next gal, but another accessory indulgence we can’t get enough of, happens to be way more, shall we say — clutch? And, while we’re always on the prowl for newbies in our life, we’ve (along with the rest of the Bay) grown fond of Shawn Burke Ltd.’s luxe suede and metallic numbers. From super-sized iterations to teeny-tiny, fit-in-your-palm makeup bags, Shawn Burke has mastered the intersection of luxury and practicality, creating dreamy pieces in vivid hues.

And, this time she’s showing off her fall 2013 and spring 2014 pieces (which include spankin’-new styles launching in September) in an artsy, moody manner. “We really loved the idea of layering different background textures and colors as a way to make the bags pop. Page Ruth, our gorgeous model, added a sophisticated New Wave vibe to the shoot. We just die every time we look at her holding a Necessaire,” says Burke.
