Class Of 2012: Nanette Lepore Has A New Line For Post-College Interviews

In another masstige collaboration, JCPenney is teaming up with girlish, flirty-femme designer Nanette Lepore, on a junior's line of clothing that'll see that teen and twenty-something girls all the way from Prom to their first post-college interview.
From sophisticated looks (including ruffled dresses and gowns and silk-screened T-shirts) to career-minded clothing for a collegiate crowd. JCPenney already has in-store collabs with Nicole Miller, Liz Claiborne, Bisou Bisou, Charlotte Ronson, and the Olsen twins (with Olsenboye). This newest addition will be available next year. (WWD)
EDIT: Nanette Lepore contacted us letting us know that the target age demographic of the line is 13-19 as opposed to college-aged girls. So, it seems that while there might be interview-appropriate styles, you should probably look elsewhere if you don't want to come across as a teen.
