WSJ's Dale Hrabi writes of a beauty journey that's totally endearing, if not slightly comical. We couldn't help but giggle as we read that Hrabi's new Davines shampoo made him feel "like some dapper Milanese guy who eats oddly shaped pizzas and whose apartment is full of strange, half-size appliances." He waxes poetic over the "fresh and tingly" feeling brought on by his new skin-care regimen (which, lucky him, included everything from Elemis to La Mer) and in doing so, reminds us why we love the somewhat indulgent nature of our own multi-step routine.
Hrabi's quest is both admirable and slightly jealousy-inducing — the pinnacle of his journey is a visit to celebrity facialist Tracie Martyn. We're hoping this experiment prompts the men in our lives to realize that there's nothing wrong with a little dude-primping, especially when it's in the name of healthier skin.
