Kimberly Ovitz, one of the most buzzed-about designers in town, expertly weaves together luxury, minimalism, and abstract design in a way that makes you think Alexander Wang, Rick Owens, and Jil Sander might've had a love child. Though she's on the eve of her fall '11 show, the L.A. native was sweet enough to let us into her gorgeous garden studio to talk shop about what drives her design, and how working in Santa Monica (with her two pups) keeps her constantly inspired.
