When you already admire a designer as much as we do Karen Walker, it's tough to up the ante when it comes to critical praise. But we'd be lying if we didn't say this spring 2011 collection was the New Zealander's finest in seasons. In fact, by look five it had already soared to the top of our favorite shows list. No exaggeration. Layers of dreamy pale florals, light-as-air silk jackets, and little winks of sharp ruffles all came together in a parade of looks that seemed to radiate the pureness and optimism of summertime. A few shots of fluorescent orange and yellow brought a jolt of South Pacific heat to the mix, and those shoes--man! A collaboration with Pointer yielded the most gorgeous platform loafers and heeled mules ever. Start to finish, top to bottom...we want it all.
