May 20 marks the beginning of one of our favorite times of year. With fashion weeks taking a temporary — and much deserved! — break, we're looking forward to satisfying our nerdier tendencies at Internet Week New York. Founded in 2008, IWNY celebrates Internet business and culture, drawing over 45,000 professionals and enthusiasts to a series of more than 250 events in the Big Apple. Panels, workshops, and screenings will inform, educate, and excite web-lovers for seven days straight. We're especially thrilled to hear R29's own Philippe von Borries chat with Maria Rodale about the future of e-commerce. We're smiling just thinking about it all.
To start it all off, we'll be hosting IWNY's opening party at The Metropolitan Pavilion — featuring a live performance by HITS, a DJ set by The Juan Maclean, and, of course, R29! The invite-only event is sure to be a night for the books.
