"Fun and flashy and down to party! I always try to add a bit of humor to my lewks. Being 5-foot-2 helps. The silver studs inspired me. Originally, I wanted to go full monochrome and pair them with the silver dress [from beacon's closet], silver socks, and silver hoops [by Ann-Sofie Back from VFILES], and call it a shiny, silvery day, but the cold front at the concert required an additional layer. Without a silver topper, I decided to go with the denim tiger [from Urban Outfitters' sale] — it’s equally fun, no?"
What do you like best about your black Chuck Taylors?
"They are SO comfortable and go with everything. Especially that one outfit you can never find the right shoes for. The answer is all-black Chucks, always. I'd also wear 'em with a kimono, crop top, denim cutoffs, and Ray-Bans — or overalls, sports bra, and a jacket tied around [my] waist."
What was your favorite part of the concert?
"The clothes! The Desert Sharks were wearing some amazing tees (vintage, I’m assuming), and METZ lead singer’s baby-blue Converse stole the show for me. [I was also most excited to see] Desert Sharks! The feminist in me was tickled at the sight and sound of these rock stars. Girl power! (Can I join?)"

"To me, the Rock Craft spirit is about supporting up-and-coming artists who are proud to do their own thing. These artists exemplify personal style in music and in fashion. These are some of my favorite songs pulled from my summer jams!"
