Minnie Mouse Grows Up, Collaborates With Gerlan Jeans

You'd have to be dotty not to acknowledge Minnie Mouse's surging relevancy in the fashion industry. First, there was news of the upcoming holiday collaboration with Barneys and now, the famous mouse is bringing her signature girly aesthetic to Gerlan Jeans with a spring collaboration set to debut at Fashion Week in a few days.
The collection is full of classic Minnie iconography — which means bows aplenty. From "Bow-veralls" to the "Minnie Maxi-Skirt," this collab is guaranteed to excite all Disney enthusiasts (young and old) and present the lady mouse's style in a way we've never seen before. Sure, the she may typically be sweet and precious and polka-dotted, but we have a feeling this fresh approach will pack a punch that even Mickey couldn't have seen coming.
Keep your eyes peeled for the full spring '13 collection after the Gerlan presentation takes place Thursday, September 13 at NYFW.
