's latest mascara is all about secrets. Inspired by the backstage technique mastered by the brand's creative makeup director, Tom Pecheux, Sumptuous Two Tone Eye-Opening Mascara features black on one end and a contrasting color on the other.
"The simple trick of using two different shades — darker on top, lighter on the bottom — work together to really open up the eyes," explains Pecheux.
We're loving the convenience of the two shades in one tube — and though it comes in more adventurous options like Rich Blue and Rich Plum, our favorite is the Rich Brown. Paired with the black mascara on our top lashes, it gives our eyes a doe-eyed effect that we've never gotten with just plain black mascara, and it looks so natural that no one would ever know we have this pretty genius trick up our sleeve.
