A Perfectly Polished ‘Fit For A Dinner Date At Sūna

What's that sound you hear, coming from the general direction of Eastern Market? Oh, it's just the deafening buzz surrounding the opening of Sūna, the new restaurant from chefs Johnny Spero and Ari Gejdenson. The cozy, second-story space, located above Gejdenson's existing spot, Acqua Al 2, has only 42 seats (read: reservations are recommended). Oh-so intimate, the resto is built around an open kitchen, so you can watch chef Spero and his team craft the fresh, seasonal dishes that make up your four- or eight-course tasting menus. Likewise, the Scandinavian-inspired decor is ideal for getting cozy, and at $48 for the four-course menu, this is seriously fine dining at a price point that doesn't require for a special occasion.
