Karl obviously believes light-up shoes were a bright idea, because he did them again for last weeks' fall '11 couture show. A slight upgrade from light-bulb shoes from pre-fall '08, these flashlight shoes shoot beams of white-blue lights as pleasant to encounter as a pair of high-beams on a dark, windy road. The shoes lit up the dark stage in a sort of extraterrestrials-land-in-Paris sort of way. As if models weren't alien enough… (Glamour)
