1 Summer Scene, 3 Instant Cameras — Here's Which One We Like Best

This summer, my Instagram feed has looked a little different than in years past. There's plenty of ice cream and unicorn pool floats, but more and more of my friends have taken to posting a photo (or multiple photos) within a photo: I'm talking about instant camera shots that have been artfully composed against a patterned or solid color backdrop. It's a clever way to show the sequence of your road trip or a day at the beach without creating a slideshow.
On a sunny day in July, I took three instant cameras (Leica, Fujfilm, and Lomography) to Brooklyn Bridge Park and snapped photos with each in rapid succession to see which one best captured the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline.
