Well, to even call Benchmarc Events by Marc Murphy's Summer Cruise Series a booze cruise is certainly selling it short — the brand-new floating resto experience is the chicest thing to happen to the East River since, well, ever. The team behind hotspots Ditch Plains and Landmarc is partnering up with NY Waterway to take the amazing service and so-yummy menus they're known to the life aquatic.
Every Tuesday during the month of July, Chef Murphy will be hosting a themed dinner aboard one of the classic ferries — exact menus are TBD, but think culinary lineups like 'Beef, Bourbon + Beer,' and 'Bluegrass + Bayou.' Each cruise will include two hours of eating, drinking (duh!), and living the fabulous life of the yachting set — all with a to-die-for views of the NYC skyline. Tickets are a so-reasonable $60, so scoop them up now and start practicing your sailing lingo. Ahoy, matey indeed.
