Tour The Vintage Newsstand That Has Us Entirely Charmed

If you ask us, there’s nothing quite like the spark of inspiration that comes from perusing the pages of your fave printed publication. Whether moseying around a library or hitting up a newsstand — print is still a very major wellspring of creativity, for us. So, you could imagine our excitement when we hit up S.F. newsstand Colpa Press — an innovative kiosk dedicated to bringing us the most beautiful independent journals, books, cards, and posters around.
The dreamy works they sling are so impressive that we needed to know the method behind the thought-provoking spot, stat. So, we caught up with artist-owners Carissa Potter and Luca Antonucci, who schooled us on the concept. Read to be inspired? Click through to see the precious paper pics and peep a very cute Q&A.
Where: Copla Press, 987 1/2 Market Street (at 6th Street).
When: Tuesday through Thursday 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday through Sunday, 12 to 6 p.m.
