Just like everyone else, I’ve had my share of toxic friends and my share of lasting, meaningful friendships that mean the world to me. Science tells us that good relationships can make us stronger, and my support system (a.k.a. my Friendship Super-Force) definitely makes me stronger.
Throughout my experiences and years cultivating these relationships, I’ve learned some major lessons. While I have enough fodder to write a book on the topic, there are five key things I learned when it comes to cultivating — and keeping — friendships.
