We’re Bringing Our Geometry Skills Back For Tibi’s Fall Collection

There are a few things we're already obsessed with for fall: luxe fabrics like lacquered leather and chunky knits, printed pants in almost any variation, and chelsea booties that work round the clock. Luckily, Tibi's got all the top trends in spades. Just sneak a peek at their fall '12 campaign, featuring UK artist and illustrator Quentin Jones (the brains behind those addictive Chanel stop-motion videos). Jones' starring role is all part of Tibi designer Amy Smilovic's interest in supporting young, talented artists, which also serves as an integral part of the NYC label's rebranding efforts.
Sleek yet impactful, the looks are shot against a studio backdrop of geometric shapes and shadows — not your traditional model shots. The stark contrast between the strong lines of the backdrop and the Jones snuggling in fall wares upfront creates a collection of images that stays true to Tibi's aesthetic: simple, but never forgettable, while also redefining its connotation. We're not necessarily numbers people, but we'll definitely study this geometry before the cold weather hits. Click through to do the same!
