We’re Calling It: Emma Stone’s Vogue Cover Is One Of 2012’s Best

While last month's Olympics issue was a welcome departure, the truth of the matter is that we turn to Vogue to see lush and pretty pictures of our favorite actresses and models (more of the latter please!). So, July's cover — shot by Mario Testino and on newsstands June 26 — helps Vogue hit its sweet spot, featuring Spider-Man's Emma Stone looking radiant and not in the least bit (as can sometimes be the case with the funny lady) goofy.

Capitalizing on the star's killer style sense, the inside portfolio has Emma decked out in designers like Dries, Jil Sander, and Marni. And in the hair and beauty department, the actress rocks volumized roots and a sexy side-part paired with glowing cheeks and a delicately smudged smoky eye. The end result is sexy, sweet, and serious — subtract the negligee and we'd like a certain duchess to start taking some notes. (
