Memorial Day marks the official kickoff of summer 2018: That means BBQs, beach days, rosé, and, less favorably, sweaty subway cars, are all in the very near future. But it also means it's prime time for deals on big ticket tech items.

If you're thinking about getting a new laptop or TV, you'll be hard pressed to find sales this good until Black Friday. As you shop the offerings from Microsoft, Best Buy, and Target, be sure to note how long each deal is live for: Some last all weekend, while others are just daily or two-deal deals. In other words, you probably want to check out online before heading to the beach.
