Ryan Reynolds Addresses Baby Photo Controversy

UPDATE: Ryan Reynolds has addressed concerns over his parenting skills on Today: "The baby's not properly secured in the vessel that I'm wearing there," he told Matt Lauer. "I'm a first-time dad, and that is not the first mistake I've made. I can guarantee you it won't be last. I'd never used that particular carrier before. Every other time has been perfect." Oh, Ryan. Don't beat yourself up. Parenting under a microscope is nobody's idea of fun. This story was originally published on June 23, 2015 at 10 a.m.
You can't blame some celebrity parents for holding back the baby photos. The public waits, it pleads, and, when something is finally released, it pounces. Ryan Reynolds found that out the hard way after Blake Lively shared a rare photo of him posing with daughter James for Father's Day. It's a cute pic, but there's one problem: Daddy's not wearing his baby carrier the right way, apparently.
Yahoo Parenting notes that many people have commented on the photo to point out the issue and express their concern over the baby's comfort. "Poor baby looks so uncomfortable and unsafe," reads one comment. "Please have hot hubby read the instruction manual." "Please read your baby product manuals with as much detail as you read a script," chimed in another follower, who branded the baby's position "dangerous." We don't doubt that little James could be shifted into a more optimal position. Still, it's a bit overwhelming to have every parenting expert give you grief every time you make a false move. The pressure is real. Read On For More Entertainment News:
