Kesha’s Venice Home Is Not What You’d Expect

Perhaps we're all too quick to peg celebrities with certain personas. Some people are surprised that Zooey Deschanel, for instance, may not be as quirky or adorkable as her New Girl character. As for Kesha, maybe her taste doesn't always align with her attention-grabbing, glitter-covered image.

Case in point: Her cute Venice beach cottage, which she's just listed for $1.8 million. The three-bedroom home is not what you'd expect from the singer, who's changed her hair color more times than we can count. The modestly sized 1,600-square-foot home is an understated, tranquil retreat with nary an over-the-top detail. According to the L.A. Times, the singer purchased the home just under a year ago for $1.6 million, so she stands to see a bit of a profit from her short stay.
