Laverne Cox Posts Gorgeous #TransIsBeautiful No-Makeup Selfie

It's always nice to sit back and take a moment to reflect on the blessings we've been rewarded in life — and the ever-flawless Laverne Cox is doing just that. The Orange is the New Black star just Instagrammed a makeup-free shot with the caption,"Finally a few days to relax. I feel so privileged to be able to do work that I love and very privileged to be able to take time off occasionally. I take none of it lightly. Always good to have days with no makeup to let my skin breath. #washfacenobase #TransIsBeautiful."

While celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, and Nicki Minaj, have all gone barefaced on social media before, this pic's only more impactful because Cox is bringing the message of self-love and embracing one's natural beauty to the transgender community. Cox has unveiled her makeup-free mug to the world before (who could forget the tear-jerker John Legend video she starred in?) and is an icon of self-acceptance and empowerment.

By allowing herself to be vulnerable, and visible, she's spreading the word loud and clear that trans is, in fact, beautiful.
