With classic Disney cartoons being remade to great success — pretty much everyone's seen Cinderella, right? — it was a no-brainer for Saturday Night Live to spoof a remake of Bambi. Starring muscle-bound action hero Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Bambi. Oh yes, this really happened, and it was pretty great. The Rock's cigar chomping Bambi is back and seeking revenge against the hunting club that took his mother's life (vegetarians, this skit is going to make you giggle), and he's armed to the teeth and wants them to pay...dearly. See Johnson, Vin Diesel (Taran Killam) as Thumper, Tyrese Gibson (Jay Pharoah) as Flower, and Michelle Rodriguez (Cecily Strong) as Faline, take on the hunting lodge with firepower and a butterfly that lands on Bambi's nose.
