Miley Cyrus’ SNL Cover Shut Down The Haters

No, Paul Simon didn't get a bleach job. That was Miley Cyrus up there on stage last night singing his classic breakup anthem, "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover."  Saturday Night Live invited the pop star to cover the song during Sunday's 40th anniversary special. Decked out in a demure white suit with embroidered details, Cyrus shut down her critics with a lovely, twangy interpretation of the 1975 hit. Oh, that's right — behind all the drama, the girl can really sing.  If you watch the clip below, you'll also spy former SNL castmember/current Portlandia star Fred Armisen in the supporting band. We can only imagine what rehearsals were like with those two on board. One thing's for sure, though: Despite the song, Cyrus certainly doesn't look to be leaving her lover anytime soon. Sure enough, she and main squeeze Patrick Schwarzenegger went out for pizza after the show. Don't ever change, you two.
