There's something about Taylor Swift. Everyone — from tweens to teens to Beyoncé to footballers — loves her. Her last album, 1989, solidified her as a bona fide country-turned-pop star and caught the attention of one particular pop queen, too.  It turns out Madonna can't stop listening to Taylor Swift, either. "It’s good to have princesses [of pop]," Madge said during a recent interview with Australia's Today. "It means there’s lots of pretty dresses around." She then singled out the "Shake It Off" singer, saying, "I like Taylor Swift. I think she writes some really catchy pop songs. I can’t get them out of my head." You and everyone else, girl. Swift's Swifties brought the quote to her attention on Tumblr, where Taylor proceeded to reblog and announce to the world that she was "dead." A couple of hashtags reminding herself to "be cool" and "stop being embarrassing" were added for self-deprecating effect.  Considering Swift's penchant for wearing Tumblr memes, it's pretty safe to say we may soon see her welcoming people to New York in a T-shirt that reads "Madonna Complimented Me And Now I'm Dead." Of course, that would require a T-shirt that reads "Madonna Complimented Me And Now I'm Dead" to exist in the first place. Fellow Swifties, let's make this happen.
