On Monday afternoon, Kim Kardashian tweeted that she had some very exciting news to share. Her fans undoubtedly felt a bit deflated, though, when this big announcement was just about her new T-Mobile Super Bowl ad.
This news sounds disappointing. But, the ad proves to be anything but.
Kardashian features in this PSA-style commercial that addresses all the unused data you have in your cell phone plan. She not only calls out herself for using her data to post pictures of her vacations and outfits, but calls out all of you for following her every move. "Please, help save the data," she pleads, as T-Mobile reminds you that with its Data Stash program, you get to keep all your unused data for a year. That's a whole lot of Instagrams.
Say what you want about Kardashian. You can't tell us she doesn't have a sense of humor. Below, the ad.
