Dior gowns really need to start coming with a warning label: Tripping may occur. Even if you aren't the person wearing one. You may remember when perpetual face-planter — said with love — Jennifer Lawrence was wearing Dior both times she tripped at red carpet events. At last night's SAG Awards, it was nominee Emma Stone who was wearing Dior — a tuxedo-inspired black number with a sheer train. Stone herself emerged unscathed, but Birdman costar Naomi Watts wasn't as fortunate. Watts' heel caught Stone's train as the Birdman cast hit the stage to accept their ensemble acting award. Watts stumbled and had to be steadied by a gallant Edward Norton. Stone, meanwhile, pretty much reacted the way all of us would: sheer horror. That wide-eyed, jaw-dropped expression on Stone's face is fairly epic. Part of her must be feeling really guilty. The other part of her is totally "Can I still return this if there's a big hole in the train?" Still, it's pretty impressive that not one person issued an f-bomb onstage. Clearly, they're better people than we are.
