It seems Fifty Shades of Grey isn't content being the SMOOT (sexiest movie of our time). It also wants to warm your heart with romance. After all, there's nothing more romantic than one partner presenting another with a contract about hard and soft sexual limits. That's what Ellie Goulding is trying to convey in her her new track and video, "Love Me Like You Do," for the upcoming flick's soundtrack. Fifty Shades may be notorious for its red room of pain and exploration of bondage and submission, but it's also a love story between a hardened orphan and a shy college student.

Just watch the new video. Footage from the movie is interwoven with plaintive shots of Goulding herself as well as two modern dancers in a ballroom. They're not quite swinging from those chandeliers, Sia-style, but the subtext is there. The producers of Fifty Shades want us all to believe this is a romantic fairy tale of rescue with a woman quite literally being swept off her feet.
The film hits theaters just in time for Valentine's Day, and "Love Me Like You Do" is sure to appear on many a romantic playlist that night and forevermore. Oh, Fifty.
