Breaking: Prince William & Kate Middleton Are On Instagram

Go unfollow any Prince William and Kate Middleton Instagram accounts that you might have in your feed immediately because they're all fake. The real royals have officially joined the filtered-picture platform with the moniker @kensingtonroyal.
Well, their sensible palace has, at least.
Sometime around 8 or 8:30 a.m. on January 14, the first royal Instagram was shared. A grainy, filtered shot of the front of St. James's Palace was captioned with the announcement that Prince Harry joined NBA all-star Carmelo Anthony in presenting the "first #Coachcore programme graduates with their certificates at St. James's Palace today." A curious choice of visual for the caption, but a (seriously cute) second Instagram was uploaded minutes later showing the prince with retired NBA player Dikembe Mutombo. The royals weren't trippin'.

What's to come remains unknown. There is no bio to accompany the account, nor is there a checkmark verifying that it is indeed the actual royals. However, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall's Instagram account isn't verified either, and it's pretty evident that it is indeed theirs. Who else would put a pic of Camilla learning computers through the X Pro II filter? Plus, it appears as though they joined Twitter under the same, newly verified handle.
Stay tuned for more behind the scenes. We may never be royals (that kind of luxe just ain't for us), but we can sure as hell double-tap the crap outta their pictures!
